Any information disclosed to Empass Healthcare that is considered PHI is treated as confidential. Access to PHI is limited to only those who have a business need for access. PHI is used or disclosed only as required or permitted under the HIPAA Privacy Regulations. In those circumstances, PHI is released only to the minimum extent necessary to carry out the intended purpose.
